Licensed Massage Therapist
Licensed Facial Specialist

Q. How long have you been a licensed therapist for?

I have been a licensed massage therapist since 2009 and a licensed facial specialist since 2011. I went to school right here in central Florida where I was born and raised.

Q. What modalities do you offer?

A. Over the years, I have gained experience in a wide variety of styles of massage. Including: Swedish/ Relaxation, Therapeutic/ Deep Tissue, Neuromuscular, Trigger Point Therapy, Bamboo-Fusion, Cupping, Kinesiotaping, Prenatal/ Pregnancy, Reflexology, Medical/ Injury Recovery, Aromatherapy, Results-Based Skin Care, Chemical Peels, Dermaplaning, LED light Therapy.

Q. Why did you become a massage therapist?

Growing up, I have dealt with chronic migraine headaches since I was 10 years old and over the years, I have tried a myriad of treatments to help with them and one of the best methods I found to help was massage therapy. My first massage was a 30 min session at my chiropractor's office after a migraine that lasted 3 days and was relentless and the massage was what finally gave me some relief and that was what when I decided I wanted to help other people.

Q. What drew you into the world of skin care?

I was working for a spa when I was introduced to the world of esthetics, and I received my first facial and I loved how it was as relaxing and restorative as many of the massages I have received.  As an acne and rosacea skin type, I wanted to learn more about how to take care of my skin, so I went back to college to learn more and got my facial specialist license. I love learning about new ingredients, techniques and about organic skincare.

Q. What work experience do you have?

I have worked in both clinical and spa environments, in chiropractic offices where I worked on injured and chronic pain clients and in luxury spas where relaxation was key. Now I blend all those techniques into my unique style to give you the best of both worlds.

Q. Who are your favorite clients?

My favorite type of client is one who comes in on their recommended schedule and follows home care instructions, they usually see the best results from their massage or skin care services, and I love it when I can see improvement month after month. Making clients feel and look their best is my main goal and it takes both of us working together to achieve that. Having open communication about medical conditions, and how you are feeling, and progressing is very important so I can adjust each session to meet your needs and goals.

Q. What is your favorite service to receive?

Well, my absolute favorite technique hands down are warm bamboo massages. They are so deeply relaxing, and the heated bamboo feels so soothing to tight sore muscles. I usually fall asleep and feel amazing for days afterwards.

Q. What are your hobbies outside of work?

When I'm not working, I am usually chasing around my 2 boys who keep me pretty busy. But when I have free time, I am an escape room enthusiast, trivia night champion, and theme park fanatic. I also love to play some video games online when I rarely get the free time.

Q. What do you want to be doing 20 years from now?

While I am hoping I will still be massaging and helping my clients. I realize that realistically I might be starting to step back from the career as I get older, and I would love to turn towards a career as an educator and pass my knowledge and experience onto the future generations of therapists. I am already in the development of curriculum so that I can start in the near future offer educational and business classes to new therapists who are looking to starting their own ventures. There are also some modalities I have not explored yet that I would like to dive into. Massage therapy has such a wide application of uses and I feel like I am constantly learning new techniques. I would like to get certified in lymphatic drainage, craniosacral and explore some other methods.
